Allowing Nature to Take the Driver’s Seat

The thing is that nature knows what it is doing. Look around for the answer. Ants are a great example where nature is trying to do its thing. It is doing a swell job at it. Each ant has its role depending on its rank. Each one of them know what they supposed to do. There is no need to tell them what needed to be done. Ants don’t suffer from midlife crisis or question if they are doing the right thing. Crisis in life is something humans have to dodge every day in their lives. During the time when life was simpler, we knew what we have to do. Our modern lives have made things complicated. We may engage in endless debates. For all we care, we can debate why Eve went against nature. We have absorbed problems because we refuse to listen to nature.

This is something we can apply in any other aspect of our life. But we need to have a closer look on its effect to our health. Our bodies work on its own without any direct supervision coming from us. Our lungs breathe, hearts beat and organs function on their own. This is a perfect example of nature working in our bodies. Our attempt to dictate things with our body, but failed big time.

Our attempts to dictate our bodies, we have become unhealthier. Medicine is better today and it makes no sense why many people are getting sicker. Many of us are dying young. Yet, preventable health problems such as obesity are rising. So, why aren’t we solving these problems? Nature has been neglected and it is something that we have to look at. We try to command our bodies and veer away from what nature dictates. We need to go back to the fact there is a link between mind and body. We have yet to figure things out if we are doing the right thing. As we see today, the results are far from desirable.

We are now letting ourselves override nature and it is something that has a profound negative impact to our health. We don’t let our bodies have a say on our health. Diet is something we do because it is a nice idea, but not because it is good. Fitness goals are not hit because of this kind of mindset. We engage on things that run the risks to our health. The body will tell you if it had enough.

The best answer is to do nothing. Let nature take its course. The body will be able to tell you if you need to do something such as a weight loss cleanse.
